0:33 Damn thanks for the warning, now I'm really going to make sure not to overshoot my destination 👍. Word of advice though, to new players you don't have to scan all the rich or moderate planets, just any planet you can land on, and any planet that has EEZO! You still get what you need for almost every upgrade and if you still need other elements just scan near by rich planets. This makes the game go by a lot quicker for those of us who don't have the time or just want to get through it already and move on to mass effect 3.

some one really need a tutorial about harvest planets? there's non of science about that xd. it's not a real harvest planet game, its just mass effect, u only harvest and that's all. besides only matters about Garrus, Thali & Jacob ship upgrades, the other upgrades its yo make easier the game.

I really hate they didn't add this into ME3. I mean you can still can planets but it's not as in-depth and you can't scan ANY planet. Only planets the Normandy picks up from it's sonar ping.

So um... You say to ignore the planet status (Rich, Poor, whatever) because you might find a poor planet with huge spikes (I assume you mean on the visible spike meter) or a "rich" world with few to no (again I assume you mean visual) spikes.... And that's true. But it's also bad protocol. Make some save games to test this, but on MY games (ME2/Collector's Edition/no advanced mineral scanner/PC), I have discovered the following: When scanning a "Rich" world, if you see a spike of say...3-5 lines (a mid sized hill), for *the element in which the planet is considered rich* (Hint: read the text about the planet that comes up before you actually scan it), and you dump a probe there...you might soak as many as 8,000 units of the element (iridium for example) off that one probe (or more, didn't do many tests). By contrast, if you go to a "Poor" planet and your scanner shows you this snazzy "mountain" of an iridium spike so you nail it...you *might* get 2,000 units for that probe. So it seems the "visible" spikes are proportional *to the overall resource content on that planet*....
